Can I bring my baby/children to classes?
Yes. You can bring your baby/children to any of our classes. We also offer child minding at some of our classes.
I haven’t exercised in a long time, will I be able to do the classes?
Yes. Classes are suitable for all fitness levels as they are structured in a way that allows you to work at your own pace and level.
I am looking to make friends with other mums, will I be able to do that?
Absolutely! Yummy Mummy Fitness recognises the importance of having social support which is why all members have access to a private forum where you can connect with each other. We also organise regular social events so you can socialise outside of classes.
I’m not sure if Yummy Mummy Fitness is right for me, can I try it out first?
Yummy Mummy Fitness offers you a one week free trial so you can try out the classes and see if it works for you and your baby/children.
What happens if my baby gets upset during the class?
We are all mums and understand that bubs needs come first, so if your bub needs to be changed, fed, or just needs a cuddle, feel free to do what is necessary and then join back into the class when bub is happy.
How soon can I start after giving birth?
You will need to get medical clearance to exercise from your doctor which is usually done at your 6 week post partum check up.
What age does my baby have to be?
Children can be anywhere from 6 weeks old and onwards. There is no limit to the age of your child.
What happens if it is raining?
Classes still go ahead (unless it is severe weather conditions that would compromise safety). We utilise the shelters available to us at our training location or we relocate to a nearby facility, however this is dependent on availability. You will be notified prior to class start time if the class has been relocated.
