Lisa sure sorted me out.
She turned me, a 40+ gym-allergic-overweight—into a fitness fan. After she had coaxed me to the first session, I was hooked. I now regularly do boxing, running and strength and stability work, encouraged every step of the way by her. And most amazingly to me, she’s even got me happy to exercise like this in public. I’ve dropped a few dress sizes, now have some serious sting in my jab, and am fitter than ever.
Lisa is a bundle of energy. She’s goes from dawn, every day. I’ve seen her work for over a year with a cancer patient; initially immobile, he’s now a regular walker thanks to her. He trains right before me and is a great inspiration. And, at the other extreme, she can take on the biggest and strongest and get them into line also.
She puts herself into it and makes it personal. As a result, her enthusiasm is infectious. I’d say that her background in national gymnastics, her qualifications, and experience with the bunch of all sorts that show up in the Byron gym are all reflected in her ability to get even the most die-hard, including me, off their backsides.
If there’s a better candidate for trainer for the biggest loser, I’d be amazed.

I am a 40 year old mother of 4 who works between 5 and 7 days a week.
Finding time for me was a hard thing.
I starting going to the gym last spring 2005.
I would go anywhere between 3 and 5 times a week.
I used to see Lisa Parkes and was probably intimated, as she exuded such strength and discipline.
I then after Xmas signed up for a weeks Boot Camp with Lisa.
That was when I was reborn, even though I had great difficulty in walking that week.
Since then I have trained with her at lease twice a week.
I then went on to commence her 12 week results training.
I still have a couple of weeks to go.
I now do not wish to have the perfect body, I am more concerned with health and fitness.
She is a fantastic trainer who manages to push you past your limits.
I recently completed a 10 km run which I have never done and I am intending to do the half marathon at the Gold Coast next year.
My complete turn around in lifestyle, attitude even work has been fantastic.
I have even managed to get my 48 year old husband to attend the gym and boot camp.
He is now also in the process of changing life long habits!
She is an absolute pocket rocket who can go all day long, who has endless enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge on nutrition as well. She is hard and tough but in order to achieve the desired results you have to have someone who will continually keep you out of your comfort zone.
The training is always different and challenging so there is never an opportunity to be bored.
Lisa has to be the best thing has ever happened to me or could ever happen to anyone else!
