How To Boost Your Happiness

Being a mum can be stressful. I’m sure we’ve all experienced days where you wake up, the kids are in a crazy mood, and you’re already wishing it was the end of the day. This can become a bit of a cycle and it’s easy to get stuck in a rut of being unhappy. So it couldn’t hurt to have a few tricks up your sleeve to help break the cycle. Here are a few ways to give yourself an instant happiness boost. Try to pick at least one of these and make it a daily habit.
Write 3 new things you are grateful for.
Write for 2 minutes about a positive experience in the past 24 hours.
Exercise – even just for 10 minutes.
Meditate and clear your mind for 2 minutes focusing on your breath.
Write a quick email thanking or praising someone.
Do a random act of kindness.
